The plan

This is the next task from yesterday - to move the flock, you have to move the fence first, and to do that where they are, it is easiest to contain them before trying to move the fence. There is no perimeter boundary fence out here, this is technically a strip of land that is the neighbor's along the outside of my fence - so it is safest to lock them up if you are going to try shuffling fence around. I pulled enough fence to set up a new area without pulling up any of the current area fence - but for strategic purposes, it is better to reshuffle the tail end of the last roll so everything matches up perfectly instead of having a lot of overlapping fence you have to fuck with multiple times - inefficient. This way I had an extra roll leftover at the end because I took the time to put up the sheep and pull up and reset the one cross-barrier roll out length-wise.

I also needed to check on a few of them, so getting them penned up would kill two birds with one stone - if it worked perfectly 😂 Kiwi helped me catch the last 4 or 5 I needed to see that were still out. And actually there were 4 sheep outside of the fence - we found another lamb later on, way out in the weeds.
