Yeah, I DID manage to mow the middle strip last evening after a passing thunderstorm dropped the temp and increased breeze enough to avoid full blood supply drain from those damn deer flies. Looks like this group of babies prefers the quarter-mile corridor. Not shown: the brief scare-up of one near creek the day before that flew well (unless was an older hen). Go, chickies!
