Ukraine is ready to transfer its position on peace negotiations to Russia through third countries, as was the case with the grain deal, said Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office.

“Any country that is serious about doing some work will not come out publicly and say rather trivial things. When they say “we are for an immediate ceasefire,” this means that the country is not ready for a mediation mission,”
-  he said during the telethon.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a ceasefire in Ukraine is impossible without clear, irreversible agreements. He stressed that no mediator will be given the right to sign documents ending the conflict.
