The Cyclopes were a lawless race of one-eyed giants, first mentioned in Greek and Roman mythology. These giants lived in a faraway land and were said to be pastoral but savage; herding goats and sheep and living in caves. They are credited in Greek mythology with manufacturing the thunderbolts which Zeus used as a terrible throwing weapon and as the builders of gigantic fortification walls, which can be seen today in Greece and throughout Mycenean civilizations.

Cyclopes are a testament to the blurred boundaries between gods, monsters, and humans. Their notable craftsmanship, evident in the construction of Cyclopean walls, ties them to themes of architecture and technology, showcasing their contribution to the advancement of ancient civilizations. Their legacy, manifested in monumental walls and legendary artifacts, continues to be a testament to their enduring influence on the culture of ancient Greece.

On this episode of "A Glitch in the Matrix," Jessica explores Cyclops, the first generation of one-eyed giants with researcher and Author Dr. Dennis Carroll.
