Christianity and Wokeness - Part 2 with Guest Dr. Owen Strachan

On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson concludes his straight-forward discussion with Dr. Owen Strachan, author of "Christianity and Wokeness: How the Social Justice Movement Is Hijacking the Gospel and the Way to Stop It." They remind us that “wokeness” is a potent blend of racism, moral relativism, and grievance. It undermines the unifying work of the Holy Spirit and therefore, is anti-gospel. As a Christian, be encouraged as Dr. Strachan offers a strategy by stating that the only way forward is speaking the truth in love with clarity and conviction. (Ephesians 4:15) We also need to pray for the Lord’s intervention to overcome the darkness that surrounds us.

About Today's Guest: Dr. Owen Strachan
Dr. Owen Strachan serves as the senior director of the Dobson Culture Center. He was a provost and research professor of theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary. He also served for six years at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he equipped Christians to think positively about God’s Word and the world. Dr. Strachan earned his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored several books, including Reenchanting Humanity, Christianity and Wokeness, and The War on Men. Dr. Strachan and his family reside in Kentucky.
