Commander-in-Chief of the Navy introduces new Baltic Fleet Commander

08.07.24 - Today, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Aleksandr Moseyev, introduced the new Commander of the Fleet, Vice Admiral Sergei Lipilin, who had previously served as Chief of Staff of the Fleet.

The Commander-in-Chief presented him with the banner of the Baltic Fleet Commander and spoke words of encouragement for him to succeed in his new high position. The ceremony took place at the Baltic Fleet Headquarters in Kaliningrad.

Vice Admiral Vladimir Vorobyov, the former Commander of the Baltic Fleet, has been appointed Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy.
