Episode 305: Assurance of election by God revealed through our new nature Part 2

Hello everyone. In tonight's study we conclude our brief look at election. This is a very difficult thing for most people to grasp as they debate whether it is "fair" for God to do such a thing.

What we all must keep in mind is that our thoughts are conceive from a corrupt sin sick and sin filled mind therefore it will not naturally understand God's ways.

Therefore we must allow God's word to speak for itself without reservation from us nor can we omit telling people what the scriptures clearly declare simply because we don't like it or don't understand it.

Truth does not depend upon our agreement with it. The sun is hot whether we believe it or not. Water is wet, ice is cold, and day is not night irrespective of your beliefs. Election by God for God is true whether anyone believes it or not.
