Arizona man pleads guilty to murder in wife’s death less than a week after reporting her missing

Less than a week after reporting his wife missing, an Arizona man admitted to killing her and pleaded guilty to murder, authorities announced Friday.

Daniel Paduchowski pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, concealing a dead body, and possession of dangerous drugs as part of a deal with Coconino County prosecutors.

The plea agreement, reached before a Flagstaff Police Department news conference, swiftly resolved the homicide case that began just days earlier.

Flagstaff Police Chief Sean Connolly highlighted the community’s engagement and swift resolution, noting it had only been six days since Kelly Paduchowski was reported missing, NBC News has reported.
