Mother of J6 victim: "Police waged war on American citizens"

July 5 interview with Michelle "Micki" Witthoeft, mother of Ashli Babbitt, who was killed on Jan. 6 2021.
Excerpts:
"I think there are members of Congress that deserve to be in jail. I think there are police officers that committed arrestable offenses, Michael Byrd on down. I think that the police waged war on American citizens that day that were peacefully praying. And it's not my position that every American citizen that day was well behaved. But if we're going to hold American citizens so accountable as to put them in jail for decades and coerce them into more charges, if they don't take a plea deal to their first offer and really suppress the American people in that way, we absolutely need to investigate what our government was culpable in that day. You know, did they send the FBI? Did the police have orders to kill somebody? Were they ordered to launch tear gas and flash bangs into a crowd that was praying? I mean, just exactly what happened? We need to see the emails. We need to see the footage. And I think that, you know, even if even if you have crowds, like crowd-sourced footage, personal footage, oftentimes the motion to admit that gets denied. And so we need the judges and the process to let the American people defend themselves."

"Ashli Babbitt was an amazing American patriot. She served this country her whole adult life, had an absolute right to be there. Michael Byrd was a sloppy, ill-trained police officer, and I would like to see him find justice on this earth."
