Reacting to 'Hommage Bataclan' - A Tribute to Love and Unity | Day 149 of Sobriety

oday, on day 149 of my sobriety journey, we do something different. A subscriber requested I react to "Hommage Bataclan," the tribute paid to the victims of the November 2015 Paris attacks, especially at the Bataclan theater. One notable moment from these tributes is the performance of Jacques Brel's song "Quand on a que l'amour" by Nolwenn Leroy, Camelia Jordana, and Yael Naim. This song, performed during a national ceremony at Les Invalides on November 27, 2015, stands as a poignant reminder of love and unity in the face of tragedy.

I usually don't cover events like these on my channel, but this request resonated deeply with me. It brought back memories of terror attacks I’ve been close to, like the Oslo attack in Norway and the 2019 Sri Lanka attacks. These memories remind me of how fragile life is and how grateful I should be for my sobriety and the opportunity to change my life. Many never get or create that possibility.

This reaction video is not only a show of love and respect for those who lost their lives in acts of terror but also a reminder for all of us that we are still alive. No matter how hard life hits us, we should be grateful for the chance to live and grow.

Join me as I reflect on these powerful themes and remember the importance of love and unity.
