20:07:06 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Here is a rather typical testimonial regarding oral health.
20:13:52 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Hi Dr. Lewis,

We had a consult a few weeks ago. My bloodwork revealed an underlying infection of some kind, so you recommended the MyPeriopath, on the hunch it could be a mouth infection. I did that and had some harmful pathogens in my results. I found a new dentist in my area that includes cone scans, and low and behold, they found an infection in tooth #15 on the top. It had a crown from many years ago, but had NOT had a root canal. The infection is pretty bad and even pushed into my sinus. Crazy considering I have had zero pain in that tooth or sinus. It's been at least a year that I have had that infection, because I had bloodwork taken last December and had high WBC at that appointment. I'm so appreciative for your consult, as this infection would have continued to progress.

20:19:18 From Maria : Are there any non toxic anesthesia?
20:19:21 From Martha : If you have a periodontal infection (gum disease), will it increase the hsCRP (inflammatory marker) in your blood?
20:20:24 From Martha : Is there some way to “see” a cavitation? Does a Cone Beam Scan show cavitations in the jaw?
20:21:41 From mira : Yes, cone beam is what my oral surgeon used b4 i had infected teeth removed
20:21:54 From Maria : Why is it that a cone beam xray did not show if there is something wrong with the root canal?
20:22:04 From Martha : Replying to "Yes, cone beam is wh..."

Thank you, Mira!
20:22:41 From Maria : infection was not conclusive and I had to be sent to an endodontist.
20:24:14 From Martha : Can “too vigorous” flossing “deepen” those “pockets”?
20:28:02 From Maura : We’ve lost our connection with God - fact
20:28:15 From mira : granite counter tops ???
20:28:52 From Patricia Hinojosa : DMSO protects from radiation
20:28:53 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Granite countertops can contain trace amounts of radioactive elements like uranium, thorium, and radium, which can emit radiation and radon gas.
20:28:59 From Martha : You get exposed to lots of radiation when you fly on an airplane!
20:29:17 From mira : Reacted to "Granite countertop..." with 👍

Panoramic dental X-rays expose patients to a small amount of radiation, which is generally considered safe. The radiation dose from a panoramic X-ray is around 0.01 millisieverts (mSv), which is equivalent to two to three days of natural radiation exposure. In comparison, the average U.S. citizen receives 620 mSv of radiation annually from a variety of sources, including medical procedures and consumer products
20:36:03 From Maura : Codeine - vast majority of us have moved on from that a very long time ago
20:37:05 From mira : Replying to "Root canal - reall..."

20:40:40 From Maura : How many end up with osteogeneration of the jaw
20:40:57 From Martha : The reason why you want to take vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 together is because they offer your body more benefits when combined. In fact, they work together within the body: vitamin D3 directs the absorption of calcium from your intestines into the blood. Vitamin K2 takes it from there, directing that calcium into your bones.
20:41:36 From Maura : Magnesium - what are you recommending on
20:46:17 From Dr. Tom Lewis : This is what I use - because we need chloride for pH balancing - producing stomach acid and many other reasons.

21:07:51 From Sharon Kelly 85532 : I have a few root canals, one just broke off a few weeks ago..Don’t know but I may have cavitations .Do you recommend a cone biopsy? Sorry I missed the beginning if you covered this
21:10:01 From Doug Leonard : How convinced are you about energetic meridians coursing through teeth and affecting pt organ systems?
21:12:15 From Doug Leonard : Correct
21:14:52 From Martha : What about “muscle testing” to assess dental problems?
21:15:06 From WG : I have heard eaing sugar leads to certan growth of bacteria which leads to cavities and other bacteria leads to periodental disease .....Is this true? Each sets up a different envrionmental ground for bacteria to live.
21:18:52 From Kelly : Hello Dr Lewis! Haven't been here for awhile! Hope you're doing well!
