Do you think that squirting the “liquid mask” iodine up both nostrils every day or two would accomplish about the same thing?
20:37:11 From Doris Fellenz To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : OK.
20:41:04 From Martha : Can you spray iodine on your face to help with “breakouts” and “fine lines / wrinkles”?
20:41:25 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Martha: Start with castor oil.

20:41:46 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Castor oil has shown potential for treating demodicosis, which can cause eyelash and eyebrow loss, and other eye surface diseases. Castor oil's main component, ricinoleic acid, has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-oxidant properties. It can also form a thin layer on the tear film, which may interfere with Demodex mites.

OK! I have some Queen of Thrones “castor oil” on hand. I can use that!
20:42:52 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Since I have been studying castor oil because of a couple of 90+ people I interviewed, I have been using it topically and taking internally - daily
20:43:03 From Doris Fellenz : I also use castor oil as part of my pedicure treatment. And I add it to my shampoo.
20:43:08 From Dr. Tom Lewis : I add the castor oil to food.
20:45:24 From Dr. Tom Lewis : The liquid mask - the newest version - casts a very fine mist. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it on my face and my eyes.

Thank you, Dr. Tom! Will do!! I have lots of the “liquid mask” on hand. It is so wonderfully “affordable”!!

How about spraying it on your scalp?
20:47:18 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Same Steve. But I would opt for castor oil with a couple of drops of tea tree oil first.
20:48:20 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Tea tree oil and castor oil may both help with Demodex mites, which can cause blepharitis, a condition that causes swollen and itchy eyelids:
20:48:30 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Tea tree oilHas antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help get rid of mites. Some evidence suggests that products with low concentrations of tea tree oil can help remove Demodex mites from eyelashes. One study found that daily lid wipes with a 5% tea tree oil solution reduced the number of mites and itchiness. However, higher concentrations can irritate the eyes, so it's important to dilute it properly. You can mix a few drops of tea tree oil with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil, or use an anesthetic eyedrop to reduce irritation. You can apply the diluted solution with a cotton swab or pad to the eyelid margins. You can also try using tea tree oil shampoo on your eyelids daily. If you don't see improvement after six weeks, or if the tea tree oil irritates your skin or eyes, you should contact your doctor or stop using it.
20:48:44 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Castor oil
Contains ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and emollient properties. It can spread across the tear film in a thin layer and penetrate lash follicles, which may interfere with Demodex mites. You can apply castor oil using a rollerball to ensure a thin film close to the lid margins.
20:49:05 From Doris Fellenz : Use of Castor oil. 1.A powerful laxative · 2. A natural moisturizer · 3. May promote wound healing · 4. May be helpful for cleaning and storing dentures I worry when ingesting it: Gastrointestinal (GI) side effects: While it can be an effective way to alleviate constipation, castor oil may cause GI side effects, like diarrhea, vomiting, cramping, and bloating. It may also cause dizziness.
20:49:32 From Linda : I was just diagnosed with blepharitis!
20:51:48 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Linda: Look at this string - I tells you what to do - castor oil, with some tea tree oil, and iodine. ALL 3

Probably the dry eye cause many people have.
20:52:28 From Linda : Thank you
20:57:24 From WG : Do you ever use the iodine topically?
20:57:35 From Doris Fellenz : How much Tea tree oil should one use for eyes and hair?
21:00:39 From iPad : Even Designs for Health has now come out with Iodine Synergy, 10 MG a pill, with 40 mcg Selenium!
21:03:16 From Martha : Gene has a heart of gold!
