The tribal zones and Waziristan were the home of America’s drone war, disrupting life in the area for the last roughly 20 years. This is the area which the Taliban fled to during America’s occupation of Afghanistan and where the Pakistani Taliban, or TTP, reside. Specifically Northern Waziristan.
