-
The UAV detachment of the Russian Hawks as part of the Yug Group of Forces thwarted another attempt to rotate AFU units in Donetsk direction of the special military operation.
-
Using the Scorpion-M1 mobile remote control platform, the crews covertly delivered a payload to a detected target and remotely destroyed a stronghold and a firing position of the AFU.
-
The platform can also be customised to fulfil various tasks: demining of terrain, setting up mine barriers, support for motorised rifle units during assault operations.
-
'Originally, we expected to use it to bring ammunition, foodstuffs, and evacuate wounded from the battlefield by dragging method. But later, through small modifications, we came to use it to eliminate dugouts and enemy manpower,' said instructor of the Russian Hawks UAV detachment Aleksandr.
-
The robotic complex is wheeled, remotely guided with the help of a joystic system, and the route is adjusted by reconnaissance UAVs, with no additional long-term operator training needed. Source
