Hello, friends,

Welcome to my channel!

Today, I invite you on a journey to the Belogradchik Rocks & Fortress, beautifully situated in the western part of the Balkan Mountains.

Belogradchik is located in northern Bulgaria, near the Serbian border and approximately 50 kilometers south of the Danube River.

Additionally, we’ll explore Magura Cave, which is also in the Belogradchik region.
The cave, existing for over 15,000 years, formed due to the same natural processes that shaped the Belogradchik Rocks.

Magura Cave is home to several species of bats, contributing to its unique ecosystem.

Additionally, prehistoric cave paintings have been discovered inside the cave. These ancient artworks depict scenes from the distant past, including religious rituals, hunting scenes, and more.

Both the Belogradchik Rocks & Fortress and Magura Cave are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
