Catching Crayfish in the Colorado Mountains

I took my boys into a canyon in the Colorado Mountains to find a future camp site, and we ended up catching crawfish. You might say catching crayfish or catching crawdads. It's all the same thing. We didn't have a crawfish trap, so we couldn't go crawfish trapping. Without any crawfish traps, my boys learned how to catch crawfish with their bare hands. And while we didn't catch enough crayfish to have a crawfish boil, one day my boys will learn how to how to eat crawfish that has been freshly caught and boiled. These may not be as big as louisiana crawfish, but the crawdads in Colorado are still good enough to eat!
