However, his growing disillusionment with the corruption in Washington, D.C., led him to abandon his goal of public service.

Scott's life took a dramatic turn in 2014 when he survived a near-fatal motorcycle crash that left him paralyzed. Through sheer determination and perseverance, he fought his way back to full mobility.
