Germar Rudolf Speech at the JP Conference

Germar Rudolf is an activist and a researcher who created the Holocaust Encyclopedia, an extensive and very detailed deep dive into the so-called event itself. Here are his words:

I don’t usually write encyclopedias. That’s not the kind of thing on anyone’s agenda, actually. But, fate threw me a curve ball, so what else was I suppose to do?

It all started when an Israeli publication on anti-Semitism published in 2021 claimed that I had published an “Encyclopedia of the Holocaust (denial)”. Although that was untrue, I concluded in early 2022 that a reference work to the vast revisionist research published over the past 30 years is very much needed, in particular the stuff that’s included in the 52 volumes of the Holocaust Handbooks. Hence, in April of 2022, I started raising funds for it on the CODOH website , and tried gathering other scholars. Neither the fundraiser (it topped off at $9k in the summer of 2023) nor the revisionist rouser was successful (Thomas Dalton was the only other scholar helping out). However, life put me in a place in early 2023 where I needed a lot of work therapy. So, in late January 2023, I sat down and wrote this Encyclopedia. Right. That’s what folks do. They write encyclopedias all the time. Particularly academic folks.

No, they don’t. Some contribute a few entries on occasion to an encyclopedia in their field. But no single person has ever been known to have written the whole darn thing, or has there? So, it can’t be done by just one person. That’s unheard of. Like refuting the Holocaust. That can’t be done either. That’s unheard of, too. But how about writing single-handedly an Encyclopedia that refutes the Holocaust? Impossible? Right, impossible. That’s what I’m known for: doing the impossible. In late June 2023, just five months later, I was done. That’s impossibly fast, too. Well, strictly speaking, I wrote only 98.8% of all its entries (572 out of 579 total), so I don’t deserve neither all the praise nor all the condemnation, depending on which side of the aisle you are on. My claim to fame is not having done the whole thing, no. Just the impossible section of it.

Oh, and people read it from cover to cover, because it’s such a riveting read, I was told. That’s impossible, too, for an encyclopedia. This isn’t suppose to have happened, and it isn’t supposed to exist. But it does. Which goes to say that pigs can fly after all!
