This VHS recording starts at January 28th , 2002 and goes until January 30th. Homeboy was really flipping through the channels because we've got commercials from : NBC, ABC, UPN, and FX. Some fun and bizarre ones. We have tons of great early 2000's design aesthetics on display. This was a fun one to put together and the "Son of the Beach" TV Show (baywatch parody) was a treat to watch. It's not streaming anywhere, but seems to be posted to youtube. Enjoy the trashy end segment.

-The famous Lassie Yellow Pages commercial
-The best Tylenol commercial I have ever seen
-GUNDAM commercial What's your level?
-Truly bizarre PSAs about violence and another one where the mom is body shaming the daughter
-An energy savings commercial shot like a Sam Raimi horror film. (and who keeps the thermostat set at 55 degrees???)
-An EXTREME example of early 2000's design aesthetic. You have EXTREME Doritos and the ad is a guy an artificial leg winning at basketball.
-The wife in the french maid troop getting caught
-BB King Burger King commercial!
-Oh Lawdy...the Jared From Subway Jingle. This is like a first date or meet cute for Jared and this girl who lost a lot of weight (Sheryl Hymotiz). She even has a picture of him on her nightstand with his giant pants. Then she takes the picture of Jared to Subway and guess who is there in the flesh...Jared. They sit down, and who knows where the night may take them. I feel bad for that lady. If only we had a Delorean we would have warned you!
-The Best Buy commercial has the guy dicking around in the bathroom while the narration says "Love playing around with stuff" and then he bumps into another man. Yeah, obviously best buy. Love playing with with stuff in the men's room at the Best Buy.
