An American Bradley

An American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and a Ukrainian Armed Forces pickup truck were destroyed by an artillery crew of the Center group of troops in the Avdeevka direction

In the Avdeevka direction, servicemen from the crew of the 2S23 Nona-SVK self-propelled mortar of the mountain motorized rifle formation of the Center group of troops destroyed the American infantry fighting vehicle M2 Bradley and the evacuation group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that arrived to rescue the crew of the damaged equipment. Having received the coordinates of the target from the operator of the unmanned aerial vehicle, the crew and the air cover group moved to the firing position.

Having aimed the combat vehicle's gun at the target, the servicemen fired a series of shots with 120-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells from a closed firing position, destroying an enemy infantry fighting vehicle camouflaged in a forest belt. After confirming that the target had been hit, the scouts found an Armed Forces of Ukraine pickup truck suitable for evacuating the personnel of the Bradley crew.

Having executed the second series of shots, the mortarmen hit the vehicle with a direct hit and then promptly left the firing position, moving the combat vehicle away from a possible strike from enemy artillery and drones. The Nona-SVK combat vehicle is capable of firing any type of mines for smooth-bore and rifled mortars. To ensure uninterrupted delivery of ammunition to firing positions, military personnel from rear units work around the clock.
