This is the ultimate comfort food for a grey, rainy day or if you’re feeling under the weather!

1/2 cup pastina or stelline (mini star shaped pasta)
2 cups chicken broth

Add the pasta and broth to a pan and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.

When almost all of the broth has been absorbed (and the pasta is cooked), turn off the heat and add a knob of butter, 1/4-1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan, black pepper and an egg.
