ADNOC Distribution has unveiled a new robotic arm fuelling system along with other AI generated operations currently in pilot trails at Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

1. Drivers arrive at the ADNOC station, choose their fuel type and start refuelling using a touchscreen or a smartphone app.

2. The robotic arm, equipped with the right nozzle for the chosen fuel, reaches out to the car’s fuel tank.

3. The arm’s sensors find the fuel inlet on the car and align the nozzle properly.

4. The nozzle is then inserted into the fuel tank, and the fuel starts pumping at the set rate and amount.

5. Cameras & sensors keep an eye on the refuelling to make sure it’s safe and done right.

6. Once the fuelling is done, the arm pulls back the nozzle, and the driver gets a notification that the process is complete.

Once more companies take AI technology into practice it will mean less jobs for the working class.
