INGREDIENTS:
2cups maash daal(urad daal) (wash it well)
Ginger garlic paste
( Blend 4 garlic cloves+ 1 inch ginger+ 3 tbsp water)
1 medium tomato purée
1 tsp salt
half tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp red chili powder
1 cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 chicken cube
4-6 green chilies
1 cup oil
Garam masala
ginger and coriander to garnish
METHOD:
Fill a pot with water, bring it to a boil, add maash daal, let t boil for 20-25 mins until soft , not mushy,do not overcook.In a wok, add oil, ginger garlic paste, saute a bit, add tomato puree, cook 6-7 mins, add all the spices, chicken cube, green chilies. Add the boiled daal, mix well. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 mins. Garnish with garam masala, ginger and, coriander and chillies. Serve with roti and enjoy
