Brother Nicholas' short message at Brother Greg's Military Memorial Service

The highest praise anyone can receive is the approval of Heaven. To be spoken well of by God is more valuable than all the honors of all the men from every nation. Brother Greg, the Prophet and Teacher over Full Grown Ministry, went home to be with The Lord Monday, May 13th, 2024. As a former Navy diver, EOD technician (bombsquad) and electrician, he was given the honor of a military memorial service at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. What men have to say about anything doesn't matter – only what God says matters. This message is part of what God is saying . .

General outline of the message :

Acts 2:22-24 NASB1995 — [22] “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— [23] this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. [24] But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

Acts 2:24 NKJV — [24] whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it,

Acts 2:24 GW — [24] But God brought him from death back to life and destroyed the pains of death, because death had no power to hold him.

Jesus defeated death, Jesus conquered death, because He was Resurrected from the dead – never to die again. And all those who put their trust in The Lord Jesus Christ have done all the dying they will ever do. We do not have to suffer the pains of death and dying. Because death is not our master, Jesus is.

Brother Greg, here remembered as a sailor, a navy diver, part of the bomb squad (EOD) – ever lives in Heaven, permanently known before God the Father as a Prophet and Teacher of the Most High. Rejected of men but attested to you "with [confirming] miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through him in [our] midst". Confirming both his Message and his Calling as a true representative of God.

Jesus said in John 8:51 NASB1995 — [51] Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death.”

Lit. — If anyone keeps My Word death they will not see for eternity.

Even though Brother Greg's body died, because he lived in obedience to God's Word, even in the midst of kidney failure, hospitalization and his body wasting away – he was miraculously delivered from all the agonizing pains of it. You never met a more jovial and peaceful, pain free soul in the days and weeks before his spirit went to Heaven. Jesus suffered the pains of death, so we wouldn't have to – and Brother Greg didn't.

He was my spiritual father, my big Brother, my drill sergeant, and best friend. And I look forward to seeing him again, because I too believe and obey the Words of Jesus, and train others to do the same.
