Dr Sanjay Gupta calls on Biden to do cognitive testing: ‘As a brain specialist, it was concerning’ | Famed neurosurgeon Dr Sanjay Gupta on Friday called on President Biden to undergo detailed cognitive and neurological testing — and then release the results publicly.

CNN’s top medical correspondent wrote an op-ed for the outlet for the outlet saying that more than a dozen other doctors had reached out to him after the 81-year-old president’s “concerning” debate performance last week — specifically his “rambling” and “open-mouthed expression” on stage.

“For me as a brain specialist, it was concerning to watch President Joe Biden, and it quickly became clear that I was not alone in my reaction,” Gupta wrote.
