Dry spikelets

This summer I am photographing this plant for the third time. I like the combination of light spikelets against a dark wood background. Today it seemed to me that the spikelets became taller. But dry spikelets can’t grow, can they? :)

Laughing out loud. In our rural life, everything is possible.
I will keep a close eye on these plants while gardening. Perhaps these spikelets are really growing. Then it will be a real miracle of nature.
