"The fetal demises are about the same...2021 was horrible. We saw carnage, and it's still happening."

"We have 19-year-olds with heart issues, blood pressure issues, strokes, neurological issues, all kinds of crazy stuff."

Postpartum nurse and whistleblower Michelle Gershman describes for Charles Kovess (@CharlesKovess), Dr. James Thorp (@jathorpmfm), et al., how she is still seeing "carnage" at her hospital, even now in 2024. Gershman notes the carnage—defined here as a staggering increase in the number of fetal demises per year—began in 2021.

AG (the questioner): [Is it now the same as] in 2021?

"Yes. It is. And, actually, it's worse...the fetal demises are about the same. I told somebody on the last show that I spoke on about a month ago that it seemed to be getting a little bit better. We seem to have a little bit less fetal demises. And then I went to work the next day, and there were 3 of them. And so I felt like I put my foot in my mouth. I was like, okay. I can't say things are getting better because that was like a slap in the face."

"And so I was just being hopeful that day, and then I was reminded, no. It's not better. It's the same. And then the moms are sicker than ever. We have 19-year-olds with heart issues, blood pressure issues, strokes, neurological issues, all kinds of crazy stuff. Well, you know, women that aren't even they're still in their teens. And so, it's the same. Twenty twenty-one was horrible. We saw carnage, and it's still happening."
