A crew of the BM-21 Grad MLRS destroyed up to 30 Ukrainian personnel in the concentration area

In the course of carrying out the assigned task, the crew of the Grad MLRS struck at enemy personnel, who were gathering in position to form a section of the second line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After receiving target coordinates from the unmanned aircraft unit and reconnaissance data, the crews of the Grad multiple launch rocket systems moved to closed firing positions. Preparing a combat vehicle for firing takes about a minute. Combat work begins.

Artillery spotters monitor the accuracy of hits using reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles. After receiving the proof, the machine crew introduces corrections and the salvo successfully covers the positions of the Ukrainian militants. As a result of the precise coverage of the target with unguided 122-mm high-explosive fragmentation missiles, the losses of the Ukrainian nationalists amounted to up to 30 military personnel killed and wounded.

Artillerymen of the West group of troops have to work every day in the most difficult conditions. Trained crews spend only a few minutes from receiving the target to the first shot, using the tactic of frequent changes of firing positions.

Depending on the task at hand, rockets from the Grad rocket system are capable of hitting the designated target at a distance of over 20 kilometers. Every day, MLRS crews cause irreparable damage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Massive artillery strikes prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold in key directions. Large formations suffer losses and are forced to retreat in small groups, clearing the way for Russian military personnel.
