Those Unworthy of Christ Will Perish - Phase 1 - Complete Devotion Required

In this series, we will explore several very extreme statements made by Christ regarding his requirements applicable to those who desire to be a disciple of Christ. Christ states anyone who seeks to be his disciple must lose his own life, pick up and carry his own cross, and follow Christ. A disciple of Christ must also hate his blood family, including his wife, and his own life. These are hard words when taken seriously, and the Son of God should be taken seriously. Jesus also makes clear those who fail to meet these requirements are not worthy to be his disciple. We will closely examine what these requirements mean and the reasons why these requirements are necessary and, moreover, how they make complete sense when one understands the true gospel of Christ, i.e., the gospel of the kingdom of God, which has been explained in much detail in the prior series entitled The Lord's Gospel and The Lost Ekklesia of God.
