A meeting in the SCO plus format took place in Astana.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries, heads of delegations of states that are observers and dialogue partners of the SCO, heads of international organizations (UN, EEC, Islamic Organization for Food Security, CSTO, Economic Cooperation Organization, CICA and CIS) and guests of the Kazakh chairmanship .

The theme of the meeting in the SCO Plus format is “Strengthening multilateral dialogue - the pursuit of sustainable peace and development.” The agenda includes issues of cooperation between the organization and invited countries on international and regional topics.
