Storm Shield Forecast morning update 5/16/18

Increasing winds will be picking up late this afternoon to 15-30 mph in our mountains and 20-40 down into the Kern Desert and staying blustery most of the night. As a result of all this fresh air moving onshore we'll see a huge dip in temperatures to the upper 70s here in the valley and Kern Desert, low 70s in the Kern River Valley, mid-60s in Frazier Park and low 60s in Tehachapi.
