Yankee Doodle Dandy is a 1942 American biographical musical film about George M. Cohan. The movie was recreated on The Screen Guild Players on Oct. 19, 1942 with the original stars James Cagney, Joan Leslie, Walter Huston, and Jeanne Cagney. George M. Cohan was born on July 3, 1878 and died on Nov. 5, 1942. He lived long enough to see life on the silver screen. I hope you will enjoy this presentation.
