Godzilla 1998 electronic coin bank

Today we take a look at a Godzilla 1998 electronic coin bank. The lights and sound were working great when I pulled it out of storage but Godzilla was not moving at all. There was no motor sound coming from the bank at all. I disassembled the base and found everything looked ok. I removed some screws on the tallest building and pulled it loose from the base. This let me access the screws on Godzilla's right side. The body opened up a bit but the spikes on the back kept the body from opening up very far. I was able to work the upper body out of the torso to get access to the gear that turns the upper body. I found the motor was seized up. I worked the gear a little and tested the bank several times until it started moving. After reassembling Godzilla and the base he works great. I hope you enjoyed the video.
