Max Matheu of the Heritage Foundation says there are a lot of different logistical hurdles to get Joe Biden off the ballot, although those challenges are easier pre-convention. Texas has a 74-day deadline preceding the election before a candidate can withdraw. Nevada has a similar statute. "If you don't withdraw the candidate before that deadline then Biden's name stays on the ballot," Matheu said. "How do those votes get counted? Do we have write-in votes count? It gets very tricky."
