Last days & nights of The Mirage Hotel & Casino: A Las Vegas icon ends after 34 years on the Strip

Inside Steve Wynn's The Mirage Hotel & Casino with the end coming in two weeks, slot machines unplugged and Cirque Du Soleil's Beatles' 'Love' show and theater closed. The Mirage opened in 1989 and is closing permanently on July 17, 2024; it will undergo three planned years of construction and redesign, with a planned opening in 2027 as Hard Rock Las Vegas. The project is currently best known for what will be a 720 foot high guest room tower in the shape of an electric guitar, to be built in front where the current Mirage Volcano erupts every night. 6/30/2024.
