If you're suffering from chronic headaches, it could be due to TMJ. TMJ is a condition that can cause pain and discomfort in the jaw area, and can also lead to tension headaches. If you have cfs, chronic fatigue syndrome, or a hypersensitive nervous system, you may be more prone to developing TMJ.
There are several things you can do to help relieve the pain of TMJ and tension headaches. Massaging the muscles in your jaw and around your head can help to reduce tension. Wearing a mouthguard at night can also help if you grind your teeth in your sleep. If you're suffering from chronic headaches, talk to your doctor about the possibility of TMJ and how to treat it.
