Founder of the Ursuline Order: Saint Marie of the Incarnation

Have you ever heard of St. Marie of the Incarnation, whose feast day we celebrate on April 30th? Canonized by Pope Francis in 2014, this seventeenth-century French missionary nun was crucial to the spread of the Catholic faith in New France (modern day Quebec, Canada). Fun fact: because of this, a statue of her still stands today in front of the Quebec Parliament building! Join us today as we share her story.
