THE CIVIL WAR BATTLE OF BOONVILLE, MISSOURI

The Battle Of Boonville took place June 17th, 1861. Union forces clashed with the Missouri State Guard and by the end of the battle, the Union took control of the Missouri River which they controlled for the remainder of the war.
