7/3/24 card: ask for help

Asking for help is an area I am focusing on more recently. I am fiercely independent and admit that it is not always easy for me to ask for help. Having dealt with a lot of disappointments, I find it hard to trust others to follow through when they offer or are asked. Instead, I’ve worked on being more careful about what I accept as my responsibility - doing less for others who are capable of doing for themselves. Even at the ripe old age of 59, I am a work in progress.
