The average Brit will go on a health kick precisely 53 days before their summer holiday
6 years ago
The average Brit will start their pre-holiday health kick 53 days before they jet off, a study has found. Researchers polled 2,000 UK adults and found a total of 33 hours and seven minutes will be spent getting into shape ahead of their getaway. A whopping three quarters intend to shed weight in time for the warmer months – around 4.5kg (10lbs) on average. Exercise aside, the most common methods employed include giving takeaways the heave-ho, going teetotal and eating healthier meals.
