FOR YOU TO BE CHANGED, ADMIT WHO YOU ARE FIRST

The first step of spiritual growth, know who you are first.

A drunk will never admit that he is a drunk.

“You are a hubogero, a palahubog.”

“Dili ko palahubog oy.”

You accuse a drunk.

“You’re a drunkard.”

“No, I’m not a drunkard.”

It’s all denial. Look at yourself first and inventory yourself who you are. Are you still a child? Are you growing? Are you walking in spiritual maturity? What is your development?

Look at that. Inventory it and see where you are in the state of the spirit, and then you will know how to progress after that if you want to progress, if you want to move on.

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now, we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
