Samus lands on the Planet Novus, rediscovering the upgrades to her suit left by Chozo on this planet while pursuing the bosses that will lead her to a confrontation with Mother Brain.
Designed to emulate the feel of the original game, Metroid Planets is an improved version with updated graphics, sound, and mechanics.
Each planet is a complete "game", with two. This new planet (Novus) is a world loosely based off the original Metroid with expanded map and extra bosses.
