Dan Papirany ITRIO – East gate Unlisted Video

Here is a composition titled “East gate”. This composition was inspired by a Yemen Jewish song “Ayalat Hen”. This tune has an intro in rubato and it has similar chord progression as the tune itself (mainly Fm7 and Cm7), it has Drums and Bass solos. It shifts between a Jewish beat (Cley zemer), Arab beat (Takfar) and Swing. This project was inspired by the collaboration between musicians during Covid. In this clip I collaborate with myself and play all instruments. I used the “BARS” studio equipment to record and video one part at the time. The result is a one-person trio format I call ITRIO.
