Social Strange: The Music of Nicholas Camarena

Nicholas explains his approach to music on how he doesn't like to use any pre-recorded loops (musical sounds) from any other artist packs and how though he used them before, he quickly realized that creating the sounds himself was more fulfilling. Knowing that 99.9 percent of the sounds that you hear was played by his hands was something important to him.
He just wanted it to be public knowledge. Not that it's a better method, just to understand that that is how it was done - in terms of how he made his music.
The music videos, however, were a different story. Because Nicholas created music for therapeutic gain- a lot of times the song was created, edited, mastered and uploaded by him himself. Every now and then a song would jump out at him and he would think "It deserves its own video." This is where sites like pixels were a huge help. Nicholas got the idea of creating random bizarre videos by watching a music video created for "A Warm Place" by Nine Inch Nails.
