I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you ? Abraham's Promise HIJACKED

How many time have you heard the claim that God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.

This has been assumed to be scriptural truth. And it has been used in reference to the modern day secular nation of Israel.

But if you revert to the Scriptures, particularly using more accurate translations such as the KJV, the Septuagint, the Douay Rheims bible, you will not be able to find this exact statement in the entire text of the Bible.

That precise statement … Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed ? …. is not to be found.

How was it contrived?
It developed from the twisting of the scripture that came alongside the rise of the theology of DISPENSATIONALISM in the 1800’s.

Dispensationalists twist the promise that was originally given in the singular not the plural.

The KJV text reads -
And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families
of the earth be blessed.
- Genesis 12:3

The blessings in Genesis 12:3 was spoken to Abraham alone and to his seed, and that is Christ.
The apostle Paul confirms this in Galatians.
