Daredevil cop jumps into moving car to stop drunk driver

A relaxing day out turned out to be anything but for these beachgoers near Krasnoyarsk, Russia, when a drunk man decided to take his Toyota SUV for a spin on the sand. Footage captured by onlookers shows the car driving out of the sea (we don’t know either), before weaving its way towards a crowd of tourists.

Luckily, a cop was on hand to pull off some heroic GTA moves, and can be seen latching onto the car, eventually managing to get in through a rear door. While the car was still moving at full speed.

Having managed to stop the car and avoid any injuries, the cop then detained the driver, who turned out to be a 29-year-old man in his wife’s car. The man was sentenced to 5 days in jail, and now faces suspension of his license and a hefty fine. Not to mention a hangover and the wrath of his wife.
