Life of a Woodsman - Camp Setup

To begin this long-term wilderness living trip I get my camp established by setting up the canvas tent. I have chosen a large open area for my camp. This gives me plenty of room to set up the tent and it keeps me away from any tall trees that could be a potential hazard. The tent setup is very easy despite making all the stakes and poles from surrounding materials. Inside the tent it is very large and offers plenty of room for a comfortable living experience.

About the tent:
The tent is a 5 meter canvas bell tent. I bought this tent with my own money after doing my own research to decide what style of tent I wanted. Prior to this trip I had used the tent only a handful of times and never with the wood stove. I bought this specific brand of tent (Danchel Outdoor) simply because the product had a good reputation from other buyers and at the time of purchase it was on sale so I was able to get a good deal. Later on in the series I will share more of my opinions on this tent.
