Posted • July 2, 2024: Man ends up in an overhead baggage compartment after severe turbulence jolted an Air Europa flight flying from Madrid to Montevideo. Flight UX045 was forced to land in Natal in north-eastern Brazil after 30 people were reportedly injured. According to Brazilian media, 10 of the injured passengers were rushed to the hospital. Others were treated at the airport. Some injuries included cranial fractures and cuts to the face. The plane was a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
