RARE VERY HIGH QUALITY SWIMMING HOLE @ Panther Creek Campground! | Gifford Pinchot | Washington | 4K

This Amazing Swimming Hole is located between Campsites #24 & #25 on the other side of the Campground Forest Road of Panther Creek. It is approximately 3 - 5 FT Deep at its deepest point and is situated between two large logs that create the boundary of an area that would be great for swimming / cooling off on a hot summers day! The creek continues its roaring and raging on the other side of the log boundaries. This would be great for the whole family to enjoy, however do exercise situational awareness because a drowning risk is always omni-present and do so of course at your own risk!

I did this on May 17, 2024. Panther Creek Campground is nestled in old growth Gifford Pinchot National Forest and without a doubt is in the top tier of Campgrounds in Gifford Pinchot National Forest! There are 33 Campsites - with several on the Panther Creek Shoreline side with short side trails directly to the Shoreline. Panther Creek Campground Campsites are reservable at Recreation.gov.

Approximately 1.5 Miles North of Panther Creek Campground, on the East side of the Road, is somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 - 7 FREE Dispersed Campsites on or near the Shoreline of Panther Creek! I didn't get an exact count and there may be more! These would be a great GROUP play, if you could get BOTH of them you'd have the entire area! Also worth mentioning that Mouse Creek is about 0.7 Miles to the North of this location and has a great bridge overlook area as well.
