Chinese kindergarten
When I was in elementary school one of our school trips was to a bakery where we kneaded the bread dough with our hands.
We did the same but in primary school. We chose what to add to dough and on top of it. We kneaded them and bent in weird shapes they tought us. Then they baked it and we ate our own bread.
If we had classes dedicated to cooking food then we might have chose to do it on our own. Thats why I like Japaneese schools. At least in this aspect that it lets kids cook for themselvs. At least from what I heard. It looks and sounds awesome.
